Writing a book in 1948 with economic poverty and illness after working as Indian Imperial Police for years. That book is guessing the big effect of today's technology on humans very closely. I want to say just wow!

Giant tele-screens, microphones and spies observe the people. An observing and interference network that can end people's relationships. Legal status and socio economic class differences between the groups of society.

George Orwell described all of these very well in 1984.
